Chongqing- As of 24:00 local time on February 10, Chongqing had reported a total of 486 confirmed cases of novel coronavirus pneumonia (NCP), according to the Chongqing Municipal Health Commission Tuesday. There are 36 severe cases, 22 critical cases, two deaths, and 66 discharged patients. A total of 16,532 people who had close contacts with NCP patients have been traced, 9,650 people have been released from medical observation, and 6,882 people are under medical scrutiny.
An additional municipal medical team of 159 members left Chongqing on Tuesday to assist Xiaogan, Hubei Province, to fight against the epidemic. That was also the sixth medial team dispatched by Chongqing to Hubei Province.
