Chongqing - Youyang Tujia and Miao Autonomous County, located in the Wuling Mountains of Chongqing at an average altitude of 800 meters, launched the "Youyang 800" brand in March 2023. 

This initiative integrates natural beauty, cultural heritage, and local specialties, leveraging new production capabilities to promote agriculture, commerce, and tourism.

On June 20, the 2024 "Youyang 800" Regional Public Brand Product Launch Conference commenced in Chongqing. It highlighted the brand's ecological and cultural values. Featured products included Artemisia carvifolia, tea oil, and cultural tourism offerings aimed at a global market.

The event showcased the brand's products through historical dialogues, live performances, fashion shows, and AI simulations. It also introduced the brand standards system alongside tourism and financial consumption policies.

Youyang announced various discount policies to boost tourism, including free entry for specific times and groups and discounted tickets valid until December 31, 2024. Tourists can also receive a 10% discount on "Youyang 800" products at designated stores with scenic area tickets.

A partnership between Sinopec Group and "Youyang 800" was established during the conference, with eight Sinopec subsidiaries, including Chongqing Petroleum Branch, signing consumption support agreements. Additional procurement agreements worth approximately 603 million yuan were signed with entities such as the Chongqing Municipal Party Committee General Office, China National Trade Promotion Association, Dongying City Commerce Bureau of Shandong Province, Jiangbei District Commerce Commission of Chongqing, and Changan Automobile.

The "Youyang 800" Ecological Farmers Alliance was also launched, focusing on organic farming and sustainable practices to enhance soil quality. The brand now boasts one industry standard, five local standards, seven group standards, and thirteen enterprise standards, with 114 direct supply bases covering 88,000 acres, ensuring standardized processes and traceability from farm to table.
